Ana tries to console herself thinking the two of them will probably never meet again. However, she is surprised when Christian appears at Clayton's, the largest independent hardware store in the Portland area, where she works. After finishing her exams, Ana receives a package from Christian containing first edition copies of Tess of the d'Urbervilles, which stuns her. Later that night, Ana goes out drinking with her friends and ends up drunk dialing Christian, who informs her that he will be coming to pick her up because of her inebriated state. Ana goes outside to get some fresh air, and José attempts to kiss her, but he is stopped by Christian's arrival. Ana leaves with Christian, but not before she discovers that Kate has been flirting with Christian's brother, Elliot. Later, Ana wakes to find herself in Christian's hotel room, where he scolds her for not taking proper care of herself. Christian then reveals that he would like to have sex with her. He initially says that Ana will first have to fill out paperwork, but later goes back on this statement after making out with her in the elevator. Ana goes on a date with Christian where he takes her in his helicopter, Charlie Tango, to his apartment. Once there, Christian insists that she sign a non-disclosure agreement forbidding her to discuss anything that they do together, which Ana agrees to sign. He also mentions other paperwork, but first takes her to his playroom full of BDSM toys and gear. There Christian informs her that the second contract will be one of dominance and submission and that there will be no romantic relationship, only a sexual one. The contract even forbids Ana from touching Christian or making eye contact with him. At this point, Christian realizes that Ana is a virgin and agrees to take her virginity without making her sign the contract. The two then have sex. The following morning, Ana and Christian once again have sex. His mother then arrives moments after their sexual encounter, and is surprised by the meeting, having previously thought Christian was homosexual because he was never seen with a woman. Christian later takes Ana out to eat, and he reveals to her that he lost his virginity at fifteen to one of his mother's friends, Elena Lincoln, and that his previous dominant/submissive relationships (Christian reveals that in his first dominant/submissive relationship he was the submissive) failed due to incompatibility. They plan to meet up again and Christian takes Ana home, where she discovers several job offers and admits to Kate that she and Christian had sex.

Jackson During a mission in the Middle East, secret agent Harry Hart is unable to prevent the death of one of his fellow agents. Feeling guilt, he personally delivers a bravery medal to the man's widow and his young son, Eggsy, saying that if they ever need help, they should call the phone number on the back of the medal and deliver a coded message. Seventeen years later, during a mission to find Professor Arnold, a kidnapped climate scientist, another Kingsman agent, Lancelot, is killed by Gazelle, an assassin with bladed prosthetic legs. In London, Eggsy is unemployed and living with his mother, infant sister and an abusive stepfather. Despite being intelligent and able, he left the training for the Royal Marines because his mother worried he would end up like his father. A thug threatens him in a pub, so Eggsy leaves, but steals the thug's car. After being arrested, Eggsy calls the number on the back of the medal and is released. Harry meets him outside the station and takes him to a local pub, where he criticises Eggsy for wasting his life. When the thug shows up with his friends for retribution for Eggsy's theft of the car, Harry advises the thugs to leave. When they rebuff him, Harry easily beats the thugs up. Harry tells Eggsy about the secret intelligence agency that he works for and for which Eggsy's late father worked: Kingsmen, and informs Eggsy that the Kingsmen have a vacancy for a new agent (to fill Lancelot's spot). He takes Eggsy to training headquarters via a the tailor shop that functions as Harry's civilian cover. Eggsy meets a group of new candidates, including a girl named Roxy. The programme is designed to weed out the unsuitable until only one candidate remains. The training is overseen by Merlin, a senior Kingsman, and each recruit is assigned a new dog to train in turn. Eggsy and Roxy emerge as the final two candidates. Encouraged, Harry has Eggsy issued a suit. When the head of the training programme, Arthur, instructs Eggsy to shoot his dog as the final challenge, Eggsy refuses and is ejected from the selection process; Roxy shoots hers and is given the job. Harry later reveals that the guns were loaded with blanks; it was a test of the candidates' obedience. Meanwhile, the Kingsmen are investigating Internet billionaire Richmond Valentine, who has announced a world-wide giveaway of SIM cards that allow free phone calls and internet access. The Kingsmen suspect him of being involved in a number of disappearances of VIPs, including the Swedish Princess. Harry tracks Professor Arnold to his class, where he interrogates him about Valentine's whereabouts. A chip implanted in Arnold's head explodes, killing him and injuring Harry. Once he recovers, Harry poses as a tycoon and has dinner with Valentine, who explains his views to Harry, stating that humanity is akin to a virus, and that global warming is the Earth's equivalent of a fever. Later, having tracked Harry, Valentine shows up at Harry's tailor shop, where Valentine and Harry further size each other up. Harry follows a lead to an obscure hate group church in Kentucky. At the church, Valentine and Gazelle conduct a test, broadcasting a signal to phones containing his SIM card, causing everyone in the church, including Harry, to become uncontrollably violent. A mass-brawl breaks out, with Harry emerging as the sole survivor. He is then killed by Valentine while Eggsy, Merlin and Arthur watch via video link. Valentine intends to broadcast the signal worldwide, using his satellite network to cause a massive culling of the human race, sparing the Earth from further environmental damage by man, and sparing only a select few that Valentine has deemed worthy. Eggsy returns to the Kingsmen headquarters, where he discovers that Arthur is secretly one of the many VIPs that Valentine has implanted with a device to block the signal, thus guaranteeing his survival. He avoids being killed by Arthur, switching a poisoned glass of brandy so that Arthur consumes it instead, killing him. Eggsy, Roxy and Merlin head to Valentine's mountain base to stop Valentine from executing his plan. Roxy will pilot a twin balloon vehicle in order to destroy Valentine's satellite with a missile, while Eggsy will stop Valentine. During the raid, Eggsy is pinned down by enemy gunfire in front of one of the prison cells housing the kidnapped VIPs, and Merlin triggers the implanted devices, causing them to explode, killing all of the VIPs who were part of Valentine's plan. Eggsy fights Gazelle, and poisons her with a blade hidden in his shoe. He then grabs one of her prosthetic legs and uses it to kill Valentine. In a mid-credits scene, Eggsy appears in the same bar where Harry first invited him to join the Kingsmen. He tells his mother he has a job that comes with money and a new house that he invites his mother to come share. When his stepfather tries to prevent Eggy's mother from leaving the pub, Eggsy knocks him unconscious, and prepares to do the same to his friends.

In the undersea town of Bikini Bottom, the Krusty Krab is attacked by Plankton. After a military battle with giant foods and condiments, Plankton feigns surrender: he uses a decoy of himself to offer the greedy Mr. Krabs a fake penny, which he hides inside to gain access to Krabs' vault. Plankton steals the formula, leaving a fake in its place. However, just as he is about to escape, SpongeBob catches him. They have a tug of war over the formula, but it magically vanishes before either can claim it. Without the secret formula, SpongeBob cannot make more Krabby Patties, and the customers become ravenous. Only SpongeBob believes that Plankton is innocent of stealing the formula, and when all of Bikini Bottom turns on him, SpongeBob rescues Plankton with a giant soap bubble that he and Plankton fly away in. Bikini Bottom is soon reduced to chaos because of the absence of the cherished and much-relied-on Krabby Patty. SpongeBob proposes he and Plankton team up to get the formula back; he attempts to show Plankton the meaning of teamwork, but he doesn't quite understand. Eventually, the duo decides to go to the Chum Bucket and rescue Karen, Plankton's computer wife, to use as a power source for a time machine that will take them to the moment before the formula disappeared. They assemble the machine at an abandoned taco restaurant, but accidentally travel far into the future, where they meet Bubbles, a magical dolphin whose job it is to oversee the cosmos. They eventually succeed in retrieving the formula, but it turns out to be the fake Plankton had left.

The malevolent witch Mother Malkin is imprisoned in a chamber by Master Gregory, the last of a knightly order who have long defended humanity against supernatural threats. After many years have passed, the beginning of a centennial event known as the Blood Moon increases Malkin's power, allowing her to morph into the form of a dragon and break free from her confinement. Gregory's apprentice Billy Bradley finds Gregory in a tavern. The bells have rung to summon Gregory for help. Billy calls upon him, but he refuses to leave. An armed man attempts to force Gregory to go out and help, but Gregory fights and defeats him without spilling his drink. Gregory then follows Billy to a small girl that appears to be possessed. Gregory realizes that she is possessed by Malkin, and exorcises the witch from the girl. Malkin attempts to control Bradley with her magic, but he resists. The two attempt to subdue and burn Malkin, but she escapes, killing Bradley in the process. Tom Ward, the seventh son of a seventh son, has recurring visions of Gregory and an unknown girl, and realizes that he's going to leave home soon. When Gregory arrives, he offers Tom's parents a great deal of money if they allow him to take Tom as his new apprentice. Before he leaves, Mam gives Tom her necklace, which holds a strange stone. In a town along the way, Tom sees a girl with pointed shoes about to be burned by a mob as a witch. Recognizing her as the girl from his visions, he reveals that he is Master Gregory's apprentice and insists that he be the one to decide if she is a witch and to deal with her if she is. After getting her away from the mob, he releases her. She tells him more about what happened to Gregory's previous apprentices, and encourages him not to tell his master about her. Malkin returns to her stronghold, restoring it to its former condition. She meets with Bony Lizzie, her sister and Alice's mother, who has been disfigured by her last encounter with Gregory. Malkin heals her disfigured face, and the two begin gathering their allies and servants to conquer the world of humans. When Alice arrives shortly after, Malkin notes her human father and wonders about her loyalty. Alice becomes increasingly wary and distrustful of Malkin after she executes one of the warlock Radu's assassins. On the road, Tom meets Gregory's assistant Tusk, and goes through rushed training to learn how to fight witches before the Blood Moon is full and Malkin becomes too powerful to stop. Tom meets Alice a second time, who has been sent by the other witches to keep tabs on Gregory. At a city along the way to Malkin's stronghold, Gregory and Tom subdue a warlock who can assume the form of a bear, and Gregory instructs Tom to burn him afterwards. Tom refuses, saying that he isn't like Gregory. Gregory reprimands Tom and burns the warlock himself, saying that one day, Tom will be like him. Gregory leaves on tense terms, while Tom remains behind. He and Alice briefly consider leaving on their own and getting away from the battle between Gregory and Malkin, but Tom has a vision of Malkin killing Gregory and unleashing destruction upon the world. He finds Gregory at a grave site, where the two reconcile and Gregory reveals more of his past with Malkin. On their continuing journeys, the two encounter an enormous creature in the woods. Gregory tells Tom to make a run for it. It pursues them over a cliff and into the river, and Tom narrowly manages to kill the creature and survive being swept down a waterfall. He is then confronted by Bony Lizzie, who attempts to cut out his heart, but he overcomes her using the stone that his mother gave him. Lizzie claims it belongs to Malkin and flees in her beast form. After Tom reunites with Gregory, he reveals to Tom that the stone increases the power of witches and belonged to Malkin's clan. From this, he deduces that Tom's mother was a witch. Lizzie returns to Malkin and tells her about the stone. They instruct Alice to use Tom's feelings for her against him and steal the stone, promising to leave Tom alive if she does. The witches and their minions take on their beast forms and attack the city. Mam gets her daughter to safety before fighting and killing one of Malkin's allies. She is confronted by Malkin, who calls her a traitor, mocks her for giving away the stone that would have allowed her to defeat Malkin, and stabs her through the heart. Alice finds Tom one more time and pleads with him to leave with her, taking the stone without him noticing. Gregory attempts to kill Alice, calling her a spy, but Tom stops him and lets her go, insisting that she isn't the enemy. More of Malkin's minions, led by Radu, come and attack Tom and Gregory. Although they fight back, the minions capture Gregory and knock Tom off a cliff, leaving him for dead. Tom then has a vision of his mother, who tells him not to mourn for her and that he must stop Malkin using the stone. The witches gather as Malkin attempts to seduce Gregory into joining forces with her and the clan with her magic. Alice is horrified to hear that Tom was left for dead. Remorseful of her actions, she grabs the stone from Malkin and runs away with it, breaking Malkin's hold on Gregory. Radu turns into a dragon and attacks Gregory, while Malkin assumes her beast form and chases Alice, despite Bony Lizzie's pleas to not harm her. Forced into choosing between her queen and her daughter, Lizzie morphs into her beast form and charges Malkin, saving Alice, who drops the stone. Tom arrives looking for the stone and confronts Alice. After she reveals her reasons for stealing it, she fights against Malkin's minions and kills several, but is overcome by an Indian warlock called the King of Swords. Tom saves her again by stabbing the King of Swords in the back after finding the stone.

Development began two years later, with the production and visual effects teams doing pre-production work based on a first draft of the script, while The Wachowskis were shooting the future segments of Cloud Atlas. The story was partly inspired by Lana's favorite book,the Odyssey. "It was making me super-emotional," Lana has said. "The whole concept of these almost spiritual journeys and you’re changed." Another inspiration was The Wizard of Oz which Lana contrasts to the Odyssey. "Dorothy is pretty much the same at the end as she is at the beginning. Whereas Odysseus goes through such an epic shift in his identity."
